Growing up in a family where music and entertainment was the backbone of her life, Miriam Morgan‘s entire being was created to be a lover for music and the entertainment industry. She grew up watching her father Denroy Morgan who is known as the first reggae artist to top the billboard charts with his hit single “I’ll Do Anything for You” conquering the music industry. As she grew older, she began to dance with two of her sisters as back up dancers for her brothers group, “The Dredz” who at the time was signed to MCA records along with her other siblings group Morgan Heritage. Through this experience, Miriam gained a high love for performing as she traveled all over the world dancing in front of thousands of people.

At the ripping age of 17 her father heard her sing for the first time and placed her in a group together with her two brothers Laza and Shy-Poo named “LMS”. After they all graduated from High school, they aggressively perused a career as a young musical group who the reggae industry saw as the reggae version of “The Fugees”. After a vigorous 8 years of touring all around the world and 4 albums, Miriam decided to nurture her artistic side. She moved to Atlanta and began training a large vast of young dancers and artist on becoming well-rounded professional entertainers. During the time she was developing dancers she was throwing down her moves in big screen movies "Stomp the Yard" and music videos like "Crank It Out".

During her break from performing and touring the world, Miriam was also pursuing her education in which she attained her AABA in Business Administration/Management and a BA in Entertainment Business. For the past 6 years Miriam has developed her skills as a talent scout/coach and Casting Director for low budget projects. She has been able to provide quality talent and expertise to projects with a low budget due to her ability to negotiate deals and manage the whole castings project so that it does not waste valuable time, which will in return eat up the budget. Morgan’s eye for quality talent has allowed her to discover and developed some of the industries sought after talent like Christian Owens, Jaquel Knight and Kiana Loi just to name a few. She has an eye for quality talent, which allowed her to create this amazing company. Her ability to network and build strong relationships has given her the advantage to accomplish success in every endeavor that she attempts.  Along with her wonderful personality Miriam Morgan brings professionalism and a charming energy to everything she does.

Though her career path seemed to begin with her as the talent, Miriam has evolved to nurturing the career of new talent. Although her love for performing will never die she has found her calling in helping to make the dreams of other come true. As her passion for entertainment and her dedication to her family grows so does her drive for making MMD Entertainment a reputable force in the industry no-longer impossible.
